Bobby Clark

Pastor

Pastor Bobby Clark has faithfully served at Abbott Baptist Church for over 30 years. Under his leadership, the church has grown from just four faithful ladies to a thriving congregation of over 175. His heart for people, commitment to God’s Word, and steady leadership have helped shape Abbott into the welcoming, Bible-believing church it is today.
Bobby has been married to Pennie for 47 years, and together they have served in ministry throughout their entire marriage. They are proud parents of three children and grandparents to five wonderful grandchildren. In addition to his pastoral calling, Bobby is a bi-vocational pastor who has owned and operated his own construction company for 40 years.
He also serves the broader Christian community by sitting on various boards, including his role as Chairman of the Board at Camp Siloam. Bobby has been involved with Camp Siloam for the past twelve years, serving in multiple leadership capacities to help further its mission.

Ryan James

Young Couples Pastor, Men's Ministry Leader

 Ryan James serves as the Young Couples Pastor and a leader in the Men's Ministry at Abbott Baptist Church. With 14 years of ministry experience, including seven years as pastor at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church 2 and the past seven years at Abbott, Pastor Ryan brings both wisdom and passion to his role.
He holds both an Associate and a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership and Ministry from Kansas Christian College.
A lifelong member of the community, Ryan has called the Mansfield area home since the third grade and is a proud graduate of Mansfield High School. He and his wife, Joanna, have been happily married for 24 years. They are blessed with four children—two graduates of Mansfield High and two currently attending—as well as one cherished grandson.
Ryan is passionate about equipping young couples to build strong, Christ-centered homes. He believes investing in young families is essential, as they represent the future of the church. His heart for ministry also extends to men of all ages through his involvement in the Men's Ministry Team.

Joanna James

Children's Director

 Joanna James is a dedicated Children’s Director with over 14 years of ministry experience, including the last seven at Abbott Baptist Church. A proud Mansfield High School graduate, she has deep roots in both her community and church.
Joanna has been joyfully married to Ryan James for 24 years. They’ve raised four children and are now blessed with a beloved grandson. She also serves as Office Manager and Accounts Receivable Lead at a local water company, bringing the same integrity to her work as she does to her ministry.
With a deep love for children, Joanna believes they are the heartbeat and future of the church. Her calling is to nurture their faith, encourage their growth, and ensure every child feels loved, valued, and seen.

Hayden Ohm

Youth Pastor

Hayden Ohm has served as the Student Pastor at Abbott Baptist Church since 2014. He is passionate about mentoring students, helping them grow in their faith, and equipping them to live out the Gospel in everyday life. His ministry is rooted in building strong relationships, teaching biblical truth, and creating a space where students feel supported and known.
Hayden holds a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from John Brown University, where he gained valuable skills in leadership and ministry strategy.
He is happily married to Kimberly Ohm, and together they are raising two daughters. Their home is also shared with a beloved family dog,.
Hayden’s heart for students and his commitment to Christ-centered ministry continue to make a lasting impact on the next generation.

Kim Ohm

Worship Leader

Kimberly Ohm has served as the Music Director at Abbott Baptist Church since 2017. She has been part of the Abbott family since 2014 and also serves alongside her husband, Hayden, in the church’s youth ministry.
Kimberly holds a bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance from Arkansas Tech University and brings her passion for music and worship into every service she leads. In addition to her ministry roles, she works for Fort Smith Public Schools as a Document Management Specialist.
She and Hayden have two daughters and enjoy spending time together as a family. In her free time, Kimberly loves playing games with her family and is always up for a good cup of coffee.
